What is Yoga in the Community?

Yoga in the Community is a not-for-profit organization that aims to support the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of at-risk groups within Australia using the techniques of yoga and meditation. 

Yoga in the Community was founded by yoga teachers Sue White and Katie Manitsas who saw a growing need to make yoga accessible and affordable to all whilst maintaining the integrity of authentic teachings. 

The Yoga in the Community program will work in conjunction with other modalities (for example counselling and rehabilitation) – working to support activities within existing systems rather than outside of them.
